Rodrigo Pérez-Gazitúa is a guitarist, teacher, father, and the creator of TheGuitarMN. Born in Chile, Rodrigo has spent over 25 years performing, teaching, and studying the guitar.

Music has accompanied him through every chapter of his life. Even during busy seasons – moving countries, starting from scratch, raising a family – the guitar was always there, waiting for him to return.

Today, he teaches from his private home studio in Upper North Mankato and performs his solo instrumental show, Flying in a Blue Dream, a tribute to the music of Joe Satriani.

Rodrigo’s philosophy is simple: music should feel good – inspiring, expressive, and personal. He focuses on tone, creativity, technique, and helping students of all ages grow with confidence and musical identity.

TheGuitarMN is where all of this comes together: his lifelong passion for music, his stage experience, his commitment to teaching, and the joy of sharing this art with others – including his own children.
